Common questions
Can you make a car key if I lost all my keys?
Yes. We can make a new key from scratch using your vehicle identification number or by decoding the lock, then program it to the car. You don't need the original key.
Is it cheaper than the dealer?
Usually, yes. Dealers often need the car towed in and may take days to order a key. We come to you, cut and program the key on site, and you skip the tow.
Do you program push-to-start smart keys?
Yes. We program proximity and push-to-start keys for most makes, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Land Rover, Jaguar, Ford, Nissan, Subaru and MINI.
What do I need to show you?
A photo ID and proof that the car is yours, such as the registration or title. We check this on every job so nobody can get a key to a car that isn't theirs.
How long does a new key take?
Most keys are cut and programmed in 20 to 45 minutes once we arrive. Some European models take longer.
